Works well for us in door and stair gates
This is a solid gate that is easy to use. You have to move the bar to open it and it can swing the other way. We have a wide staircase and that fits very well. I bought brackets that hold it to the wall because it has slipped a bit but once I put the brackets in place it fits snugly and stays in place even with two kids knocking on it now and then.
