Works MUCH better than the two-piece plastic chute that came with the Kitchen-Aid stand mixer - at least for adding ingredients. It sticks well to the bowl and directs the ingredients into the bowl. However, it doesn't act as a rim that curves over the mixing bowl and prevents ingredients from falling out. But since the two-part plastic chute that came with the blender kept falling apart and often fell into the blender bowl, this is a much better solution for me. And you just throw it in the dishwasher.
