I was surprised at how powerful this tool was. There is a bronze collar on the front of the weapon. It slides forward and locks the racquet in place. The bit can only fall out because it is not inserted correctly or the bit does not have a groove to grip the clutch. Once the bridle is in, it won't come out until you pull the collar forward! So don't worry about bits just falling out like some reviews say. Also, loosening the handle and twisting it up unlocks a pin that allows the red handle to rotate around the tool's shaft if you need to move it. There are several prongs that you can index the handle to rotate it up or down and then tighten the handle to lock it in place. Pretty smart. The price was a little more than I'd want to pay for a tool like this, but it's not a Harbor Freight special that you throw away after one use and a broken hinge. I've been looking for a right angle drill to get more money but the drill head is a lot bigger. Of course, when you buy one of these, you're looking for the smallest head possible.
