I was surprised at how powerful this tool was. There is a bronze collar on the front of the weapon. It slides forward and locks the racquet in place. The bit can only fall out because it is not inserted correctly or the bit does not have a groove to grip the clutch. Once the bridle is in, it won't come out until you pull the collar forward! So don't worry about bits just falling out like some reviews say. Also, loosening the handle and twisting it up unlocks a pin that allows the red handle toβ¦
This is one of those tools that the first time you use it, you'll wonder why you never bought it a year ago. And for those people wondering why this model costs twice as much as many other angle drills, all the extra money went into components and design. The entire structure is made of metal and is of very high quality. I ran several hundred #9x3" screws with it on my first project; so far there is almost no gear backlash or distortion in the driver's quick release socket (bits don't bind)β¦
I really like this angled nozzle, especially the sturdy metal construction and small size. I use it with my cordless drill when there isn't enough room to mount my drill press and drill then I come in from the side with this angled attachment. My 12 volt Bosch drill is rated for 265 in-lbs of torque and the Milwaukee bit is rated for 235 in-lbs so they match up pretty well.
