Review on 🔵 Alessi Kettle, 9-inch Height x 8.5-inch Width x 8.5-inch Depth, Blue Color, Model 9093 by Ans Brownlee

I love the design of this kettle. It's beautiful, stylish and so representative of Italian luxury design. I had one for many years until it boiled over a few months ago because the whistle wasn't very loud and I was distracted to another part of the house; All the plastic melted and the kettle had to be returned due to loss. I bought another one from Revain and found the whistle was again lacking power and a few weeks later I ended up in Milan and went to the Alessi store to buy another bird whistle hoping it would work better . I mentioned my problem with the whistle and was told it wasn't a problem with the whistle but that sometimes the gasket on the kettle lid allows steam to escape reducing the pressure of the steam that needs to exit through the spout and the bird whistle . I was told if I was in Italy Alessi would take the kettle and fix the lid issue. Unfortunately, I'm in the US, and before I could think about what to do next, my daughter melted down a new kettle. I'm curious now that I ordered a third one (I have a good sugar bowl and creamer so I wanted the set to stay complete). This time I did a test and saw that steam was coming out from under the lid and the bird was not making an effective whistle. I gave up and sent the kettle back. This kettle is just too expensive to perform poorly and be constantly replaced. It's a shame, I really liked it.
