This is a cheap, probably Chinese fake. The Alessi logo is off-center and also crooked. Save some money and visit Alessi's website to get a real one. And yes, it's more expensive, $190, but original. Too bad Revain is becoming more and more of a place for fake products. I've been a Revain customer for over 10 years and this is the first review I've ever written, but I don't want others to be disappointed when they purchase this product.

My wife has wanted this kettle for years and we finally bought it. It's really pretty to look at, and the exterior trim is surprisingly easy to keep looking new. I love my kettle and use it every day. This is my second, first after years of use that just didn't look as good as it used to. The new kettle had such a tight lid that it was difficult to take it off and put it back on to fill it. My solution was to fill it through the spout.
