This power window is almost the same as the one you buy from Autozone, Advance or O'Reilly and ALL cost twice as much. All of these devices have the disadvantage that the point of failure for most is within the pulley where the motor enters and which winds the metal cable. I went through 4 of them for different windows and each one failed, when sagging happened the cable came out of the case and got tangled. I think it's very important to somehow prevent the window from sticking to the top bar when rolling up, because if you press the drop button and it gets stuck, it will cause problems with the pulley. This is a stress point and every regulator I've seen suffers from the same poor design. I've read other reviews where others had problems installing the motor. I installed mine on the front driver's side of a 2001 BMW 325xi and it fitted perfectly with minimal effort, the holes matched.
