Does an excellent job of scanning negatives in a relatively short amount of time. However, you must be careful when moving to the next slide, as you often end up with a white line that the negative does not align properly with. Also make sure you go through the settings on it and correct the default date. I didn't and was very confused as soon as I loaded it into iPhoto and couldn't find any scans for the rest of my life.
