This is a very small heater and I knew it wasn't designed to heat a large room. I use it in my very small office (only about 50 square meters) and after it warms up it will eliminate the cold and eventually raise the temperature in the room by a few degrees, but that's definitely not the case. warms the room well and certainly not that quickly. I didn't notice any difference in heat dissipation no matter what settings were on. It appears to be either off or warm (not even hot - it never gets hot enough to burn anyone). It's inexpensive and better than nothing, but be aware that it's best in a very small space that doesn't require a lot of heat.
