Review on High-Quality American Standard Tank to Bowl Coupling Kit - Model 7301021-0070A by Onur Donovan

This kit was used to re-attach the cistern and bowl to a US 4021 (1.6 gal/ft) toilet. The tank had secondary (universal) rubber washers and metal bolts. I've replaced many of those old universal washers with new universal washers and always seem to get one that won't seal on the first try. There are no problems with this kit. The install tool works great. I managed to get these things tight and there were no leaks on the first try. The shell also fits the tank gasket like a glove. In addition to a good seal, the tank is also much more stable than before. Worth every extra cost and a day of waiting for a universal kit.
