You will need it with your new flapper flush valve

This review is on this part: US Standard 7301021-0070A Tank and Bowl Connection Kit, $15.99. This kit includes new tank bolts, bushings, nuts, a large new gasket and a plastic installation tool. Everything works perfectly. I read the reviews and found very helpful information on replacing the purge valve for my Am. toilet standard. This part is for flush valves with 6" fill tubes in the 4019 tank. If your fill tube is 9" tall, order part number 738921-101.0070A. Makes everything great.

Replacement part for 738756-0070A

Our US Standard 6Lpf/1.6gpf Champion 4 toilet has started to leak through one of the tank screw seals. Couldn't find any replacement parts locally, none of the 'universal' kits had bolt seals. This is the ideal toilet replacement kit and requires kit #241 - part number 738756-0070. The seal I received was green. Don't worry if it's a little different in size from the old one, stretched and flattened, it will fit perfectly. The nut wrench is excellent. Much better than the plastic ones. See…

Facilitates tank installation.

This kit was used to re-attach the cistern and bowl to a US 4021 (1.6 gal/ft) toilet. The tank had secondary (universal) rubber washers and metal bolts. I've replaced many of those old universal washers with new universal washers and always seem to get one that won't seal on the first try. There are no problems with this kit. The install tool works great. I managed to get these things tight and there were no leaks on the first try. The shell also fits the tank gasket like a glove. In addition…

Not satisfied, used product; Now I'm glad I bought this

. 1) The metal tool shown in the photo has been replaced with an inferior plastic tool (I bought this set specifically for the metal tool). 2) This was purchased new but the bag containing the small pieces was opened and a huge 2" oval hole was cut in the clear plastic bag. UPDATE: Thank goodness I bought this. After 1 day the sponge gasket from the Korky 3 inch flush valve replacement kit was not sealing the tank (several attempts). This worked great on the first try. Note: It was used in a…

Exact fit Cadet US standard tank

The four neoprene gaskets in your US standard toilet tank (flap gasket, drain valve gasket and bolt gasket) WILL corrode after several years of tap water immersion. Although the actual failure of these seals will show up as a leak after many years, it is advisable to replace any of them if corrosion of any or all of these seals is evident. However, American Standard doesn't offer a "cistern gasket replacement kit" for their various models, and that sucks. Instead, the American standard requires

American Standard Cadet 3 Water Leak Repair

I have an American Standard Cadet 3 toilet that has been slowly losing water between flushes for about a month. The water level drops about an inch and then fills up again. Since there was no water on the floor, I figured it must be the drain valve gasket. I checked Home Depot and Lowes and couldn't find the right parts. I found a matching purge valve assembly at Revain. Since the tank has to be removed to replace the flush valve, I also had to purchase a tank to bowl connection kit. US…
