Doesn't work with my Wacom Cintiq

I bought this to connect my 2007 Wacom Cintiq 20WSX (DVI and USB) to my new 13" MacBook Pro via Thunderbolt 3. Despite numerous reboots / connected and disconnected from the network the cintiq only displays an image for about 5 seconds and then turns off when used with this hub how insanely expensive they can be.
