Review on Effortlessly Crush Beer and Soda Cans with Dial Industries Easy Pull Wall Mounted Can Crusher by Sarah Clark

I installed this item about 2.5 years ago. This worked fine until two months ago. The upper crushing platform now gets stuck "mid-thrust". Now for this to work I have to use two hands, one on the crushing arm to pull it down and the thumb of the other hand to push the back of the top crushing platform down so the platform stays parallel to the base. . It looks like the left bar is no longer smooth and the top crush platform is stuck at this point. I have performed the annual maintenance as recommended. I'm the only one in control of the device so it's not an abuse issue. I crush about 24 cans in a typical week. Now that you can crush cans with two hands, the device no longer works as advertised. I plan on calling the company to see what they offer. I will post their feedback later. UPDATE (7/6/2017) - I emailed the company and they were VERY responsive. I answered several questions about how I've been using the device and they determined that the device should be replaced, although this was a rare situation. They quickly sent me a new device for FREE and I received it within a few days. As with the first one I bought, it works great. A product is only as good as the company behind it. And the people at EasyPull support this product. I'm holding back 5 stars for initial hiccups but adding 2 for excellent customer service.
