I've used dozens of these plastic tools. Why not. They have arrived and are quite an ugly color and some are discolored but I don't need pretty tools. then i opened them and they are quite big. much larger than the standard blue meters/installation bays. So in my eyes this is a plus as I will mainly be using them for dash panels, rocker panels and door panels. Then I picked her up. It's a kind of hard plastic with a fairly smooth surface. They have no flex, I don't know if they will flex when it gets warmer (we're cold right now) but I hope not. That was my biggest gripe with the mounting bays, they were bent before removing the stuck clip. The price was at the level of port freight, but I do not have a local and only added abstracts to the collection. I can't say they don't damage the surface but I have prepared many hard plastic tools to remove the pad with good results and they look and feel about the same, looks don't bother me especially as they are bigger and harder. the so-called"pro"-is a big plus in my book. So I'm happy with them.
