They look great like leather. Real bottom stitching uses the same design techniques as real leather. I actually like it more than real leather as you don't have to worry about it getting wet, keeps it conditioned over time and doesn't have to be made from animals. It's coming from the oil, so I'm not sure what's actually worse. A naturalist might say that the skin is better. That controversy aside, I will say that they are a perfect match for AirTags. A simple tab at the top of the keychain keeps the stitch loop closed. It would take a crazy series of events to open it up and drop the air tag out of the pocket, but I believe it could have happened. I wouldn't recommend this particular keychain unless you want a highly secure Air Tag carrier that will stand up to the elements, ie. H. for hiking and camping. Otherwise, it's great for everyday use as a bunch of keys. The rotating key ring is not as secure as the standard spiral key ring. I suspect the hinge and tiny spring will be the point of failure. You can rotate the hinge so it's under the "leather" loop and that will probably make it more durable (if it stays there). Again, this is a good keychain that should last a few years. For extreme conditions I wouldn't consider it. The rest is good. 4 stars.
