The case does not have a good solid connection to the base and the contact is faulty.

Lasted five months. Looked cheaper than the one I just replaced. Should have known due to the vague description. The housing does not have a good solid connection to the base and the pins in the connector are bare. Installed on a 1998 Malibu LS V6 with windows and air conditioning will not work.
