Review on 🎨 KINGART Designer Series Sketching & Drawing Set of 75 with Leather Storage Case by Barbara Simmons

Not bad, but a bit pricey

Mostly The value I feel is lying in the packaging. This is a great case, durable, looks great with a leather finish and keeps your pens organized. It includes 5 graphite pencils (3B, B, HB, H, 3H), 12 pastel pencils, 3 charcoal pencils, 0.3 ink. Ballpoint pen, 36 colored pencils, 12 pastel pencils, 3 small mixing pencils, eraser and plastic sharpener. The quality of all these accessories is pretty good. I said middle of the road is good. They're not the best, but they're not bad either. Sometimes I use expensive things and I have to say that I will use them regularly. Pastel pencils are soft, so be careful how you sharpen them. Only do this with the included sharpener, not the electric one. The LED inside is strong, none of mine seem to be broken. The sticks are really soft and leave powder behind. I prefer chopsticks because they're easier to spread. I use sticks for details. The crayons color evenly and aren't waxy like Prismacolor, which I really like. There is an even distribution of light. The pens are good too and don't leave as much dust as the cheaper pens. Graphite and charcoal adhere well to paper. This is a $70 package, of which $20 is spent on the case. I see it as a cost of $40 or even $50, not $70.

Pros
  • Materials included: 24 colored pencils, 12 watercolor pencils, 12 pastel pencils, 12 soft pastel pencils, 6 sketch pencils, 3 charcoal pencils and 1 fine marker
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
