I bought this product for travel purposes to install my phone and get directions in rental cars. The product has no suction power. It is based on a sticky adhesive that is applied to a suction cup to hold the product on the dashboard. This might work if you plan on installing it and keeping it in one place. This will not work if you plan on removing and reusing the mount. After two uses, it no longer held my phone securely and fell and crashed into the center console while cornering.
