The device just works, at least for what I saw in the first few two years. For me it was connecting memory cards or connecting USB devices. I used it sometimes to connect an external monitor via HDMI. I never had a problem until I started working from home a lot more and decided to hook up an external keyboard along with an HDMI monitor. , One of the USB devices is the key for my wireless keyboard. Even though both the keyboard button and HDMI port were connected to a hub, I experienced missed keystrokes half the time. At first I thought my keyboard was broken, but reading the forums several people reported similar things. Like them, I decided to see what happens when I disable HDMI, and voila. All my keystrokes are back. Now the error I explained could also be related to my Macbook Pro 15 2017 as it cannot handle both signals over a single USB-C and I don't have more than two hubs to test with. , so there may be reasonable doubts that this is the hub's fault. But then again I don't have this problem with any other hub I've used in the office either, so I can only conclude that this hub should be used for either the keyboard or HDMI, not both. Time. I've since upgraded my monitor and use a separate port connected to a DPI adapter. I still use the Innomax hub for my keyboard and other USB devices/memory cards.
