Review on πŸ”§ The Powerful ARO L36121 100 VS Air Line Lubricator: Optimal Lubrication for Maximum Performance by Ramon Hood

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It works well, but there's little room for fine-tuning.

This works, but leaves a lot to be desired in terms of fine-tuning the amount of oil. The first time I used it, after a few minutes, my entire air tool, hands, and work area were covered in oil. I turned down the volume. tried again with simulated results. After much trial and error, I finally turned the volume control so that it was almost closed. It seemed like too much oil was coming out, but only about 1/16 turn more and then I noticed no oil coming out at all. So. After a lot of trial and error I finally got almost the right flow, but the regulator goes from (1) no oil to (2) too much oil with very little pressure on the screw. Adding just a little bit to the oil is almost impossible. Note: The instructions say something about being able to add oil when it is under pressure. I have found that this is not the case. but also not a big deal for me as I have quick couplers and ball valves upstream so it's easy enough to shut off the air for a bit when it's time to add oil. General. it works. never mind I suggest using disposable gloves until you set it up.

Pros
  • Filter, regulator and lubricator
Cons
  • Expensive
