I have read many conflicting reviews on how to fix the turn signals on my 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport but finally decided to replace the relays Indicator. This item solved my problems and it only took a few minutes to install. My Jeep had working emergency lights, but the turn signals stopped working and the old relay made a loud buzzing noise when I tried to turn the turn signals on. To fit this I removed the lower instrument panel under the steering column and the metal grill behind it and found the faulty relay on the left hand side. It was easy to find by turning on the turn signals as they made a loud buzz. I smeared the contacts of the new relay with dielectric grease and replaced them, and now the turn signals work fine, they don't hum.
