With this tool I was able to change the oil pressure supply unit myself in 30 minutes and saved myself about $400. Anyone can do it!

Bought to replace the oil pressure feed unit for my 2003 GMC Yukon. I was disappointed at first because this product cost me a few dollars more than some of its competitors. I spent the extra money because this was my first time trying this job and I wanted the highest quality tool. From the outside, the outlet is well made, but inside it looked very cheap, like it was painted silver. Not what I expected for this price. Another problem I had was that the oil pressure sender unit didn't fit in the socket when I tested it! This would have pissed me off even more if I hadn't seen another reviewer post a similar issue and say the fault was due to the oil pressure sender unit design. Turns out it wasn't a tool. The oil pressure nut was not cut to size and after carefully filing off the excess material at the corners the tool fitted perfectly. That extra work was painful, but I don't blame that clutch! Despite the internal plating issues, once I put the block on the socket, the thing slid back like a pro behind my intake manifold, and I didn't have to remove anything for this tool to fit behind the engine to screw in the new block. The dealership wanted to charge me for 2.6 hours of work at $140 an hour because they said they had to remove the intake manifold to replace the oil pressure supply unit. After figuring out where the block was behind the engine, it took me about 30 minutes to remove the old block and screw in the new one with this tool. I highly recommend purchasing an adjustable viewing mirror to pinpoint the exact location of the device. It helped a lot that I could see behind the engine. My new oil pressure gauge now works like clockwork and I saved nearly $400 by doing it myself and not listening to the dealer. Anyone can easily do this job. the right tools.
