Cheap. In many ways.

If you are interested in this item, you should know that it is very cheap. First, the pieces don't fit together well because the glue is dripping all over the place. The instructions are in German only, but don't be fooled - the cheap paper it's printed on and the poor quality of the whole thing screams Chinese fake, although the country of origin is nowhere to be found on it or on it. Crate. I highly doubt the Germans would ever have built such a horrible Christmas pyramid. Also, the nativity figures are very poorly made: shepherds' crooks are glued to their elbows instead of their arms, the wise men's gifts are glued to their bellies, and the strange figure with no arms is just a round ball glued to his stomach. When trying to assemble the unit I found that 2 fan blades had come loose from their stems. It's okay, I glued them. But then I tried to place the tip that the blades stick in over the metal bar and it only went down about 1/2 inch leaving about 1-1/2 inch of the bar visible. I drilled the hole deeper so less of the rod is visible. I've certainly been disappointed with this item so far, but figured if I light the candles and it actually spins as it should, I'll live with that. Of course not. There was enough heat from the candles to turn it but too much resistance. I was thinking of getting some graphite grease and trying something different to make it spin more freely, but I got tired of that joke so I boxed it up and shipped it back to China or whatever third world country it came from. moral history. You get what you pay for! I'm saving money for a real German pyramid and I advise everyone to do the same.
