quality always proportional to the price with little fluctuation.I am satisfied with this set mainly with a variety of nozzles.But I am not pleased with the quality of the bearings. Some of the hex nuts have become loose, and one even flew off on startup. Carbide is a newer micro-grained texture compared to lower quality, found in beats like Amana, Whiteside or Freud Find. In fact, if you're looking for clippers and want a range that will probably get you started, then go for it. For me it was just a ticket
