I thought this would make a good use for my old bike that was rotting in the garage. It arrived quickly, was easy to set up and seemed to work well. The cable was wriggling all over the floor so I picked it up and looped it in half to attach it to the bike frame and it ripped right out of the mechanism. I spent the next hour taking it apart to try and fix it. it, but the small 2mm cap holding the wire in place couldn't be reinstalled. Not worth sending it back and I think if I run to the hardware store I can fix it as a weekend project. Pretty annoying though.
