This is the king of tape measures! I bought it knowing it was made in the USA! Here are a few facts about Stanley that I found interesting. In 1931, Stanley introduced the first steel tape measure. In 1999, Stanley introduced Fat Max Roulette. These roulettes are made better than any other roulette maker. I have other roulettes and the difference is obvious. I heard Stanley Roulette got better 10 years ago. I believe so, but they are still made in the USA and are of above average quality in my opinion. Someone in another review mentioned the lack of ink on the numbers on the tape and that prompted me to take a look at mine. I clicked on the photo and my ink looks nice and bold. Maybe he was right, maybe the ink had run out the day his tape measure was made.
