I have knitted two different sweaters and a top with this pattern following the instructions. I had no major problems trying to assemble the clothes and found it took about 2 hours for each dress. I'm not the most experienced seamstress but I loved my end product and my kids. I managed to match the sweaters on the front to the sweaters I made for my girls so they and their dolls have the same outfits. Considering I made the girls sweater and the doll sweater for less than the cost of a store bought doll outfit, I feel pretty good about this purchase. The only odd thing I had was that when the pattern was cut out of tissue paper, some instructions were printed on the side of the pieces, so I had to write on the patterns myself. It doesn't matter and I'm pretty good at drawing a straight line with a ruler, I just found it odd. I would recommend if someone cuts out the pieces, cut them out and put them in labeled envelopes just for later use. This is probably my opinion, but it really works for me. Enjoy!
