The name is misleading, these are not half round (1/2) round cutters used to cut leather straps and belts, these are 1/4 round cutters used to cut square corners to round them to give a nice rounded edge. Exactly what I need so please make sure you see real photos before purchasing. If you need to cut the ends of the straps and the ends of the straps go elsewhere and buy real 1/2 round cutters, but if you want to cut the corners of square leather, buy the real cutter. Smaller knives are sharp. Out of the box, the larger ones require more effort and are a bit tedious to use, but overall they're great value.
