In addition to the fact that the operating system was already activated at delivery (which in itself is a red flag), the BIOS already had Secure Boot Master Keys installed in the TPM. There was no way to remove the master key, so I couldn't control every aspect of the machine. Attempts to remove the keys were unsuccessful as I did not have access to the master key. As a result, I couldn't disable Secure Boot and install Linux. Working on software, I've built dozens of machines from scratch and installed the operating system as many times as I can remember, and I've never seen it before. This is not a very good buy.
