Yes, all other reviews are correct - this product actually melts and produces a burning smell reminiscent of melted plastic. After a month of use, I removed the refill nozzle and found that the inside of the diffuser and the tip of the nozzle were completely destroyed. It's crazy to think that my cats and I had to put up with this smell for a whole month and also expose ourselves to a house fire. Save your money and don't buy this product. Tip: You won't see any heat damage just by looking at it while it's plugged into an outlet. Be sure to unplug, remove the nozzle, and inspect the interior of the diffuser for heat damage BEFORE the 30-day "return date" arrives to receive a full refund.
