Why is it so hard to find a compact CD player that "just works" and not scrap? This was my second try at Revain and I had high hopes as it actually worked when I turned it on (others wouldn't even read my CDs!). The player I originally had, Wal-Mart's COBY, has worked great for 10 years. I'm now an actor in a horror show called I Want a Simple Working CD Player in 2020. I've been distracted. However, this one looks great and is easy to use, but the sound quality is terrible. However, I ignored this shortcoming, but quickly noticed a kind of "giggling" or humming in the background during playback. Well, after a day of non-stop use of Christmas CDs, I woke up at 3am to an awful buzzing sound. Now, no matter what mode it's in, it buzzes like a loud neon light. No thank you! Into the bin, time for a third try with a different brand.
