Love love love this yarn

I am new to crochet and am learning basic stitches so using "fancy" yarn helps to make my crochet look like I do. I bought Lion Brand Thick and Quick Yarn Homemade as it seemed like the perfect yarn to me. I was right. Yesterday I started crocheting an afghan double crochet using a pattern I found online. I will put a link to the crochet pattern in the comments section as you cannot include links in a review. I followed the online pattern except that I used 2 strands chunky and fast Lion Brand yarn as 3 strands was too chunky to easily crochet. I use a Lion Brand Yarn 15mm crochet hook, size Q-19 to make overlapping blankets and the crochet hook was easier to use with two strands of yarn. I started knitting a lap blanket late last night and by mid-morning this morning I was about a third of the way through the project. If a beginner knitter like me can crochet as quickly as I do, a more experienced knitter can easily complete a lapgan in a few hours using this yarn. Yarn. I will be making another lapgan using a free pattern online. What I like most about Lion Brand's thick and fast yarn: * Fast crochet * The colors are very beautiful. The Tudor color creates beautiful streaks of lavender and green mixed with some cream. Very nice.* The yarn is soft and warm. When winter comes, I see myself snuggling up and warming up with a lapgan. I recommend.
