This product is great. I don't use it on the boat though lol. I installed a skid plate on the back of my Wrangler and wanted to protect the finish and make it safer. This adds a layer of protection and increases the friction surface to keep everything in place. It was really easy to install. I set it to a suboptimal temperature and it still stuck beautifully. In extremely cold temperatures of -20 degrees Fahrenheit and then wind chill it was still sticky. I trimmed it a bit as it was a little longer than I needed and was easy enough to cut with a knife and a straight edge.
