Review on ACDelco 252 318 Professional Water Pump by Leo Torres

Purchased 2004.5 Dodge Ram 5.9 Cummins 4WD Dual. Not available here in the UK. I went to RockAuto for part numbers and thought I'd check Revain.com. Surprised to find this here. Ordered and paid for shipping only. Arrived at my UK address just 4 days later. I compared the models before buying, the reviews are good. It comes with the required o-ring which is not very clear in the description. Easy replacement job, try it yourself. Remove the water (two buckets are needed for the tap on the back of the radiator). Remove the airbox for access, remove the serpentine belt (your Halfords socket wrench on the square hole in the tensioner), loosen two 10mm bolts in the water pump, remove, clean the surface and reinstall. Fill with water, carefully reinstall the belt (note the belt's path before removing it), run it and check for leaks and allow the water to spill out of the radiator before removing the cap put on again. Reinstall air box. Easy. Much luck. 2 hours maximum
