Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Frost King VX620 Gutter Guard: 6x20' Plastic Protection at Its Finest by Micheal Looney

Inexpensive and somewhat effective do-it-yourself installation gutter protector

There is no one-size-fits-all gutter shape and size, and no one-size-fits-all method for embedding or installing shingles. However, it was built by your roofing subcontractor. In other words, you have to improvise and forget to buy the perfect gutter protection product. I researched so many products and options before giving up a few months ago. Unless the railing was installed with the gutter by the same tradesman, there will never be a perfect match. I didn't want to spend $60, $80, $100+ on something that might or might not work. I just installed a 40 foot fence in my garage today for less than $12. Once upon a time, Thermwell VX620 appeared as a main upgrade at such a ridiculously low price. What do you think is the worst that can happen? Just for research purposes I also bought the same (6"x20") but 3x the Amerimax 6x20 Guard, just for comparison; it looks, feels exactly the same so don't worry the one is probably identical just labeled & The diamond mesh flexible vinyl protector doesn't fit perfectly or arc, but I was able to hook it in with friction between the outer receding edge of the slide and pull Tuck the other edge under a small edge of cedar shavings over a curved vertical. A strip of shiny metal underneath with a slight concave bulge over my 5 inch aluminum gutter. It looks good from above; you can't see anything from below. Unfortunately, my garage is 20 feet long, the gutter extends only a few inches beyond 20 feet, so there is about a 6 inch gap next to the downspouts. I'm going to find a lightbulb for the screen and put it right in there to close the last gap. To make sure I have some sort of mechanical attachment to the railing I bought a pack of 8 gutter railing brackets which I'm having troubles, snapping into the eaves or my gutter lip as intended, instead it's also friction lugs on the end of the clapboard so I suspect the rig could be blown off on a gusty, windy day. Just take a look. was easy to install, can be easily removed in the future without damaging the gutter and definitely better than what I had before which is nothing!
