Beetroot Powder in Diet and Sports Nutrition

I don't eat fresh beets. Never really liked her. Although the taste of this powder is not bad at all. You can hunt him down with Gatorade or whatever if you need to. I mix it with a scoop of GX7 pre-workout and it tastes better together. They work great together if you want to sweat too. I started with half a scoop of GX7 with a full scoop of Total Beets to top up. GX7 might make you nervous if you go straight to a full scoop. I take just before I walk out the door on my way to the gym. Mixed with about 8 ounces of room temperature water. When I start exercising on the elliptical, I can actually feel my body warm up and start sweating for a minute or two. The effects seem to wear off after about 1.5 hours. That's why you take it right before your workout to get more energy. I don't know much about shovels, I tend to prefer the smaller ones rather than the big ones. Sometimes I only get 1/2 to 3/4 scoops of each and it's just as effective and lasts maybe 45 days instead of just 30. The price is really good for Total Beets at $15.95 most of the time.
