The image used for this listing is misleading as it shows the head of the piercing is wider than the base, but it is not. The part of the piercing that is actually visible is tiny, so if you want a very small and cute little jewel, this is great. The gem itself is the size of the tip of a ballpoint pen. If you were hoping for something more like the picture it will be disappointingly small. I will say the shorter length of the spike fits my nose much better and overall I'm happy, I just wish the proportions of the spike were closer to the picture.
