The monitor exceeded my expectations for the price. Being able to work on multiple PCs has increased my productivity. Product support was excellent; Support was actively contacted via email before my product arrived. The monitor offers extended mode with my Surface Book 2 and Surface 5 Pro. The monitor's USB-C (Thunderbolt) cable plugs directly into my book's USB-C port, providing a one-cable solution. The USB-C cable provided with the monitor is fully functional and any alternative USB-C cable must support Thunderbolt, which is denoted with a lightning bolt icon next to the monitor's USB-C port. The USB-C Power Delivery (PD) charging cable may not work. I had to use an HDMI cable from the monitor to my Surface 5 Pro and iPad Pro. Surface Pro only has a mini DisplayPort, so an adapter (mini DP to HDMI port) is required. The USB-C port of iPad Pro can be directly connected with a USB-C cable from the monitor; but I was hesitant to use this configuration for long periods of time as it drains the iPad battery. So with the iPad Pro, I used a USB-C hub with an open HDMI port on the iPad and an HDMI cable from the monitor; The hub supplies power via a USB-C DC input. If an HDMI cable is used on the monitor, power must be supplied from the monitor's USB-C power input. Although I can only use the iPad with the monitor in mirror mode, it offers a wider screen for watching videos. The speaker on the monitor is OK, but does not match the sound quality of the PC. I chose PC sound when listening for a long time. The brightness and clarity of the display is good for text and great for pictures and videos. OSD seems finicky; I might spin the wheel by clicking to select. The Magic Cover fits, but it must be installed according to the instructions, with the front flap folded back towards the monitor to prevent the monitor from sliding down. The case makes it easier to pack and transport the monitor. I needed a portable monitor that could be used on different PC platforms. This KYY monitor is a good economical solution. Customer support was excellent; They solved the hardware problem quickly. Responded within a day given the time difference. They contacted me before the monitor was delivered and gave me the contact if there was any problem and the comfort that they usually offer.
