IMO Verbatim needs to rethink this bad design and restore the front power LED and.
Older Verbatim portable hard drives have a power indicator on the front of the case. This 3TB SNS device doesn't work - it's very inconvenient to get up and go to the back of the device to see if it's powered off. Also, the tiny power button is finicky and not very convenient to turn on and off, unlike previous models with a rocker switch or tactile button. Also, when you use the green button shutdown utility, the device turns off, but when the PC restarts, the device turns on again. The only way to ensure the device stays powered off is to unplug the power cord. IMO Verbatim needs to rethink this poor design and restore the front power LED and positive power button on this unit.
