Tweeter not working

I was hoping for the pure sound quality that Cerwin Vega is known for, but when I plugged in these speakers I found that one of them is much louder than the other. One of them has a tweeter that is not working properly. This is probably a problem with the high frequency crossover. It would be nice if companies tested their products before shipping them. One of them sounds great for the price and the other is rubbish. Maybe I only got the lemon because apparently others praised the landline.
