They look great, sound great and are not too expensive. I have used these and other Cerwin Vega XED speakers to replace worn speakers in my E-312 Cerwin Vega Speaker home stereo. (Please note: my receiver is 4 ohm compatible). They are very clean and clear in sound. We can say that they are of high quality. Subwoofers have deep bass and are very voracious. I notice that my Kenwood receiver is struggling with this, but it works. In any case, I'm impressed, to say the least.

I was hoping for the clean sound quality that Cerwin Vega is known for, but when I plugged in these speakers I found that one was much louder than the other. It turned out that one of them has a tweeter. what is not working properly. This is probably a problem with the high frequency crossover. This is a VERY modest price for a 5.25 size speaker. If you're looking for a working pair of speakers to replace broken or missing ones, they'll do the trick, but don't expect them to sound spectacular. They'll make a noise, that's all.
