Review on KREG SDK C2W 100 2 Inch Coarse Screw by Francisco Taylor

I wanted to write a review here as some people seem to be misinformed. These are plated screws and as with any plated screw, the plating will wear off a little as you drive it in. That is the nature of the animal. If that bothers you, use the SS versions. I myself use these coated screws on my deck when drilling through the top of the board and use SS screws when I can use a jig and go through the side. There is no difference in the performance of this screw over the stainless steel version in terms of wood splitting. Overall very happy with this product.
