A good product! in Protective Shields

I heard about this from another user I know and he said it was great. I just got my Cobra painted and went on a 2800 mile journey so I gave it a try. The application is pretty simple. I sealed the area with duct tape because some people say it will be difficult to remove small splatters if you don't. I found this an acceptable method. I applied 2-3 coats to the front nose and side fenders and at least 2 coats in front of the rear fender where it's cleared of road debris. Easy to roll up and apply. I was afraid it would look crappy, but everything looked great the next morning. I think he finds his level. I didn't experience any rain or moisture during the ride, so it held up well. He collected a lot of mistakes and we really dabbled in repairing gravel pavement and it didn't even work at low speeds. Back at home I washed the car and used a hose to loosen and remove the film. out of the car. The area forward of the rear fenders didn't do what I expected and I have a lot of small impact pits from debris. That's normal for this car but I figured the RWP wouldn't allow that many hits. Maybe I should have put on extra layers. The front of the nose cut off very well. A few holes due to debris but he did a fantastic job on most of the site. I spend my days at the track with the car and will use it from now on to make the finish look good. Not sure what I'll be using on the back, but I'll apply RWP in multiple layers to see what happens. In summary, the RWP is a very good choice as long as it doesn't get hit by hard objects. The bugs don't fit, they can be wiped while driving or just wait for the foil to be removed and they'll go with you. I would have given the product 5 stars but I had paint damage and applied 3 coats as suggested. In general, without protection, it could be much worse! The photos show the condition after the ride and after removing the foil, as well as removing the foil. The last two before the trip.
