Review on 🚿 Moen 100710 Posi-Temp Tub and Shower Replacement Knob Handle Kit, White and Chrome Insert by Damon Mertz

We already have three of these. The first was installed in the shower when the house was bought. When it broke we thought it was just because it was old. I bought a replacement, installed it and it works great. problem solved, right? nope We originally replaced it in September and the replacement unit broke in January. Well, maybe we used it too roughly. Bought another replacement. Broke 8 days after installation. Taking the advice of other commenters, I am purchasing the Moen 100657 Lever Handle for Single Lever Bath & Shower Faucets, Chrome EDIT: After purchasing and installing the replacement above (see separate review) we found that our shower did not always turn off completely . We ended up swapping out the stem and things are a lot smoother now. This might be one of the reasons why the handle broke (it's still cheap and breaks too easily), but it might help someone. It was pretty easy, we used something similar to this Moen 1222 Single Handle Posi-Temp Replacement Cartridge.
