They are advertised with a 1/8 inch shank diameter. The decimal equivalent of this number is 0.125 inch. In fact, the shanks are .1125. This means you can tighten the collet on your Dremel all the way down and these wheels will just fall to the ground. In other words, they are useless. If you still want to use them, I've found that the thickness of an aluminum beer can is almost exactly the .006" thickness required for a washer to fit in a 1/8" cartridge. Roll the aluminum in one layer into a thick cylinder and partially insert into the chuck, then partially insert the shank of one of these wheels into the chuck and fully insert the two pieces. Works like a champion but doesn't work. It would have been easier if those details were done from the start.
