Bought it long before I needed it. Actually I bought 2 dozen. They sat on a shelf for a while and one day when I ran out of balls I opened a box and threw some balls into a bag. One day while I was playing I noticed that this ball I pulled out of my pocket looked different than the Pro V1. I started searching the internet and found that fake Pro V1 balls are rife on the internet. Has never crossed my mind. I looked at the box. Titleist holograms are counterfeit. The dimples on the ball are not the same as the Pro V1. Just in case, I ran to Dick's sporting goods store and bought a dozen more. It was pretty clear that Dick's Sporting Goods balls were real and those on the internet weren't. My advice is not to buy them online. Just go to your nearest retailer and buy them in person.
