Installed on my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic, it fits perfectly. no questions. I can't comment on how clear the instructions were as I didn't use them. I watched the YouTube video before purchasing so I knew what I was getting into. Installation took no more than 45 minutes (including installing new parts and removing the old air purifier). Everything was very simple and very easy. Installation Tip: Before you begin, thread the screws into the holes (that attach the air intake to the filter housing). Make a few good twists and then take them out before assembling the case. I found that the holes are threaded, but it can be a little tricky to get the screws in without setting those threads first. Also, use a socket wrench instead of a standard wrench (it will make your life a lot easier). The system was only installed a few days ago, but I'm already noticing a significant increase in mileage. and a small but noticeable increase in performance. The engine now has a distinct "hum" under acceleration, which sounds good but can be a problem for those who want their truck to be very quiet. My only complaint has nothing to do with the product but with the packaging. Mine came in a K&N box with a nice big orange and red "K&N" logo on the side. I live in the country and my postman is happy to drop off our packages at the gate in the driveway (seen from the street). K&N is a fairly recognizable brand and with such a large logo would be a tempting target for thieves. It really falls on our postman for laziness. so there is no star deduction for it. This is just a warning to those who may be in the same boat as me. You can ask for something special on the packaging (like at least cover the logo).
