Review on 💡 Westinghouse Lighting 0348400: Powerful 250W Infrared Heat Incandescent R40 Light Bulb - 5000 Hours Long Lasting Performance by Keerthi Forrest

In winter I like to leave the infrared light a few feet above my workbench in the garage. This creates a more comfortable working environment. I suspected that this bulb was dim, but just dismissed it as my imagination. However, today I prepared my Coleman ovens for the coming storm. I'm wondering why isn't much heat coming out of this thing? I put in an old GE lightbulb and the difference was very, very significant. I mean, I just couldn't ignore the difference. I've had this lamp for a few months so don't send it back, throw it in the trash. It emits light but no more heat than any 60W incandescent bulb. It is labeled Westinghouse - China 250 Watt. I can imagine little pigs, goats and chickens shivering from the cold.
