This is an excellent device for quick tow bar and hitch alignment. The clear, wide-angle view displayed on screen allows you to get the job done without having to get out of the cab, look, come back, set your truck, come back to see if you're in, etc. My only complaint is, that the magnet is not as effective as it could be when attaching the camera to the tailgate. This happens for two reasons: 1. The magnet is weak. 2. The magnet will align horizontally with respect to gravity when you attach it to a vertical tailgate. In this case the contact surface of the magnet is too narrow. relative to the downward pull, causing the camera to drop and hit the pavement when you hit a bump. However, there is an easy fix, as well as one more positive thing to report. First the solution: I bought two strong bar magnets and glued them to a weaker magnet with Gorilla G blue and aligned them at right angles to the supplied magnet. Now they are holding up really well. Now for the positives: as you'll probably do at some point when you buy this device, the other day I left with the camera still out the back door. It will surely fall down at some point in your journey and as I retraced my path to find the mutilated remains of a camera I was amazed to find it across the street, very scarred. lifted but still fully functional. As the Timex ads said, "You should have licked it and it's still ticking."
