I had a previous version of this product which was fine but I had a few problems. I'm happy to report that these two issues have been fixed in the new version 1. The previous version had a hinged lid, but this slides in instead of flipping out. The hinged lid was easier to open, but had a habit of lifting up in windy weather, eventually causing the lid to snap off. This one is much safer.2. The buttons in the previous version were flat and not very responsive. That meant you were never sure if you pressed them correctly. These buttons are raised and provide positive feedback when pressed, letting you know you pressed correctly. Overall this is a great product that solved all the issues I had with the previous version.
